The Brighton Pensioner has gone off to France again. He is not a mobile blogger so we shan't hear from him for awhile. It's a shame too. Because I have recently been afforded some ammunition with which to tweak his proper British sensibilities.
I bring this up only because it is fruitless for me to post any of this information when there is nobody to respond. That means that this blog shall maintain some semblance of sanity.
Incidentally, should anyone be wondering about what it is that I am referring; somewhere among his blog posts, he wrote of a move to censor place names over there. Yesterday the New York Times published an article about some of those very names.
Quite frankly I see nothing wrong with the names. It's the folks who dwell on them that need work.
I'm back now, so you can have a go at me and my sensilbilities (I think I prefer the mis-spelling!).
ReplyDeleteThat was so long ago that I can't remember where exactly the ammo is. Besides, the cabinet weekend provided many other opportunities.
