Now you can see it
That's Treasure Island, originally created for the Golden Gate International Exposition (World's Fair in 1939 and 1940). Then it was going to be the S.F. airport, but the Navy leased it instead. Now the city has it back. That's where the two photos on Friday and Saturday were shot
