I can't remember... again

The Brighton Pensioner asked Am I repeating myself over on his blog today. Then he went into a detailed (from my viewpoint) post about retirement.
I should be able to write a similar post... except for the fact that I can't remember when (other than a February) I quit working. I do know that I have managed to keep myself busy. My only wish is that I had been just a little more organized about it. Then, perhaps, I might have as much free time as I did when I was employed.

    Just like you, I suspect, I still haven't quit working - it's simply that I no longer get paid for it!

    And anyway (he says, starting a sentence with a conjunction) why bother with being organised about retirement? Is it not better to take things as they come now we are not forced to be organised?
