And so it begins again

I'm off to the dentist in a few moments for a new round of some sort of work in my mouth. Thank goodness there are no more teeth left to pull. Whatever it is that I start today requires that I go in again tomorrow. I am not exactly sure what I'm in for, but the only pain should be the cramp I get when I take out the checkbook.

Well it was a long two hours, but I had a chance to read most of the March 29 issue of Time. Did you know that there is some question about whether statin drugs are as effective for women as for men?

Oh wait! Do you know how weird it is to have dental work done without having somebody put a mouthful of hardware in while they manipulate it? Most of the time was spent waiting while a tissue conditioner set up. Now I am supposed to keep these dentures in until tomorrow morning when I go back so that they can be sent to the laboratory that will fabricate a new set with the doohickeys that snap onto the implants that were planted in the lower jaw last December. I will be absolutely toothless most of the day tomorrow so it won't be a good day for a family photo shoot.

  1. Ouch! Spring has sprung and so it seems also the dental appointments. Suldog, you, and I sure need to get my butt in to see the man dressed in white scrubs. Hopefully it won't put too much of a dent in your checkbook.

  2. The only pain was at the end of the visit, Michelle, and it was only figurative rather than real. There are dents and there are creases.
