Someone said that it's November

I looked outside and then at the thermometer. The only give away that it's November is that there were trick or treaters last night. There was a time when we would have as many as two hundred at the door on Halloween. We may have had 50 this year.

  1. IMHO, trick or treat is a practice that really should have stayed on the other side of the Atlantic. My trouble is that the Old Bat (who should know better) insists on buying a pumpkin which she hollows out and places beside the front door with a candle inside to light up the silly face she has carved. It positively invites the little b***ders to knock on the door!

  2. I'm sure that I have something to comment about. I just have to organize my thoughts a little better.
