When all else fails...

For nearly a week now the local weather folks... all of the TV stations anyway... have been forecasting a big storm for next week. It's supposed to bring 2 - 4 inches of rain here in the valley and have winds to 50mph (gusts to 60).
That is such a big change... sneaky, too... there have been none of those precursor clouds as yet to warn of anything impending.

  1. I shouldn't hold your breath if your forecasters are as good as ours. We are supposed to be basking in temperatures of about 70 today, according to last Friday's forecast, but I have had to put on a sweater! But at least the sun's shining and the strong wind we had early this morning has died down.

  2. We got a little background on the approaching storm last evening. It is evidently the remnant of the Typhoon that left the big mess in the Philippines last week. That would explain the predictions for copious amounts of precipitation.
This storm is supposed to affect the entire state, if not the West Coast.
