With a nine o'clock deadline for the hunt to begin, it meant rising early if we were going to have coffee and read any of the Sunday paper before leaving to pick up the eggs from the 7-11 where we'd arranged to store them. So the bonus is we saw a sunrise on a beautiful Sunday morning, an ideal day for the Easter egg hunt.
It all went off without a hitch, except maybe for the fact that the 7-11's milk delivery was stacked in front of the eggs. The hunting patch was all laid out and the eggs were in place by 8:30. The hunt began promptly at nine... and was over by 9:05.
Not a discouraging word was heard and the thank yous made it all worth the effort.
Glad to hear it all went well.
