What, you're happy with the way things are now?

So, yesterday at lunch the Long Range Planning Committee made a presentation to the attendees. All they were doing was reporting the findings since they were directed to look into the possibility of making some changes to how and when conventions are currently conducted.

Well, from the response, you'd have thought that some of the possibilities were a done deal. The listeners were ready to shoot the messenger. I should mention that many of these same folks lack of who were outraged by some of the suggested changes are also the ones who complain about the dwindling attendance at our conventions.
