The final event at every state convention is a breakfast where there is usually a guest speaker to either motivate or inspire, as well as entertain. My own preference would be to see the motivation or inspiration at the beginning. I have nothing against having a speaker at the end of the last session. It is just that by the time it arrives, the folks who really need to hear it have either already started for home or there has been so much sensory overload that many miss the message.
I was thinking that maybe we wouldn't go to next year's convention, but the registration has been turned in, along with the check. Go figure.
There may be some photos out there somewhere. I am going to look. If there is a good one, it may get posted here or at WHTPFIHC.
