Inspired by...

Lot's Wife (エコツアー回遊記 2010年03月)
A photo at the Chubby Chatterbox reminded me of this.
One of the strangest sights I have ever seen occurred in November 1963.
The first day of transit back to the West Coast from a deployment to the Western Pacific (aka Far East), the ship passed a lone rock pinnacle 325 feet high.
It is called Lot's Wife [or the Japanese name Sōfu Iwa (“The Widow Crag”)]
I shot a few photos, but they're on 35mm slides and I can't access them.
