Down by the river
Sacramento River at Anderson
Yesterday I was upriver on the other side.
But my camera wasn't handy so I didn't get any shots of the wildlife enjoying the sunshine.
Oh, and the river isn't running nearly as high as in this photo from March 2011.
And it's strange how names of places etc can conjure up pictures in the mind or sound really exotic/romantic/whatever. The rivers Shenandoah and Sacramento have always done that for me.
It certainly looks peaceful.
