Later in the day, after the Sunrise shots, I was out and about.

Again, I was a tad late with the camera and was unable to get a picture of this cloud before it began to collapse on itself.

looking east

It wasn't the clouds over Mt Lassen that interested me as much as the smoke in the foreground.
It turned out to be just that... smoke.
