Yet another view
It's the second largest dam in the U.S. (guess the largest), and 43 stories high. I'm much more comfortable looking up the spillway than looking down. This was my first ever tour of the dam, even though I have lived here 38 years.
Before 9/11 it was a simple task to tour the dam. Now, it's almost easier to fly somewhere.

The tiny people on the sidewalk do a great deal to put the size of this dam into perspective.
