The seasons change

It seems like in the winter and early spring months I have nothing better to do than sit at the keyboard and write about nothing... or almost nothing. Then there's a change in the air and there doesn't seem as if there's enough time to even read all of my email.
Yesterday I spent most of the morning and early afternoon helping at a fund raising event for the senior center. Then I took a nap for a few minutes. Finally, I cut the grass in the back yard... again.
Then today, both Sharon and I were up and out by 7:00am to load up the truck with provisions for a lunch stop at the century bike ride the Lions Club sponsors as a fundraiser. One of the things we are most proud of is we always have left our site better off than we have found it. We were finally back home around 4:00pm.
I will probably sleep well tonight. That's a good thing, too. Because tomorrow it's up early again to drive to Sacramento for a visit with the perfect grandson and his parents.

Here are just a few of the folks who enjoyed the fruits of our labor today.

This was one of the times when the riders had actually taken advantage of the bike racks

Forget it. I keep getting an error message.
