Not typical
But, it does happen about once a year and is a lot quieter than the Civil War re-enactors who feel the need to fire cannons.
The real irony, though, is that this is the middle of rodeo season here in the North State. Red Bluff's was a couple of weeks ago. Cottonwood's is this weekend and Redding's is the following week.
It would be really interesting to see these guys attempt to perform their stunts while riding rough stock from the rodeo.

Now jousting is something I have never seen. Nor a rodeo either, come to that.
