Not typical



But, it does happen about once a year and is a lot quieter than the Civil War re-enactors who feel the need to fire cannons.

The real irony, though, is that this is the middle of rodeo season here in the North State. Red Bluff's was a couple of weeks ago. Cottonwood's is this weekend and Redding's is the following week.

It would be really interesting to see these guys attempt to perform their stunts while riding rough stock from the rodeo.

  2. We haven't seen the jousting either. The fishwrap provided the pictures.
    We're going to miss the rodeos, too, because of being away during each one.
