Boy am I glad my taxes are done. I only wish they were as simple to do today as they were when I first did them in the old days. Now I have to have a professional help because of all of the forms. Back then I just had to fill out a four inch by nine inch card. I read in the Economist that the U.S. tax code is 7,000 pages. Why?
How is anyone able to do their own taxes any more?

On the positive side, it appears that the weather is improving and that it will be worth the effort to pack my golf clubs for the convention. It seems like the only time I play is at conventions... definitely not a way to improve one's game.
Anyhow, we shall return some time Sunday, though there may be the odd post if I have an Internet connection.
