It's about time that we have a shift in the weather pattern. It has been raining since Saturday night and the outlook is that it is supposed to continue at least through Thursday.
Up to this weekend it was almost like we (California) had been the forgotten part of the Continental U.S. Everyone else seems to have experienced some sort of weather extreme during the last few weeks. Now it seems to have shifted. I just now looked at the composite radar map of the U.S.
Looks like it's all on California now?
The best part of this scenario is that there will be a lot of snow dumped in the Sierra Nevada and other mountain ranges. That in turn means there will be runoff to fill the reservoirs this Spring and Summer. The next best part is that it's not snow down here in the flatlands.
