Timing is everything

We have an apricot tree. It bears fruit about once every three years because somehow nature manages to create some minor disaster that precludes the blossoms from surviving long enough to mature. This year there is a bumper crop. It is not quite ready to be harvested. The fruit should be just about perfect next week. We will be away!

  1. I know that feeling only too well! In fact, both those feelings. We have two plum trees, and, just like your apricots, we get fruit every few years. They look good this year... so far.

  2. I'm just hoping some of the apricots will be salvageable when we return from Minnewhatsis.
