The streak continues.

Someone said, "When given lemons, make lemonade." So the local TV weather personality, who is affectionately called the Chief by the rest of the on-air talent, has determined that if we're to have all of these 100+ temperature days, we should have them consecutively to set a new record for the area.
The current record is 23 days. The recent stretch of warm to hot days (warm and hot being relative terms) is around 13 or 14. The current forecast calls for the next five days to warm up a little to temps at 105 or above. But it appears now that we will not have a record setting streak.
