Typical of springtime in the Northstate, nature has taken a 180 and we've gone from sunny days with unseasonably high (the nineties) to the underachieving sixties with overcast skies... possibly even a threat of rain.
Personally I think we need a promise of rain. This is our third year of below normal rainfall. The reservoirs look really pathetic with their brown bathtub rings. Worse than that is the word that agricultural users with receive about 15% of their usual allotment of water. That should really give a boost to the local economy.
Meanwhile, the weeds seem to be thriving because what rain we have had came late. I can't wait to see what happens this summer
