Ah Paradise

We're packing for a brief sojourn to a Lions district meeting this weekend in Paradise. Normally we'd be worried about how weather conditions will affect traffic. This year the weather concern is drought. On top of that, the temperatures have been running about 10 degrees above normal.
On the one hand, it is nice to have the sunshine and to not have to turn up the thermostat. On the other hand, this lack of precipitation (rain here, snow in the mountains) does not bode well for either the growers who depend on the water for irrigation or the fish who will be wanting to come upstream to spawn later this year.
Then again, should unmarried fish be encouraged to cohabit in public?


BTW - we will be home in time to watch the game on Sunday...
